 100% Sauvignon • 14% Vol • Appellation Sancerre

There might be no better known white wine than Sancerre. Easily the most requested at Gauthier Soho and I would imagine in many restaurants. Famously 100% Sauvignon Blanc, it is an appellation that stands by itself in terms of personality and distinction.

At Gauthier Soho we put a lot of thought into which Sancerre to offer, especially at every day/friends lunch informal price point. The result for 2021 is the same as last year, The Georges Milleroux Sancerre 'Tradition' 2020. So most of you will be familiar with it as the Sancerre you all drank with us last year.

From the esteemed SCEA Milléroux Goerges & Fils, this is the go-to Sancerre chosen for Gauthier Soho 2021, and intended to serve as the house Sancerre throughout June-October.

Georges Milleroux and his brothers are one of the most reliable and best known producers in Loire winemaking and needs no introduction.
From the supplier: "This Sancerre Blanc shows the full characteristics and purity of the appellation with notes of boxwood, lemon and hints of fresh almonds on the nose. The palate is fresh, crisp with good acidity which lift the zesty fruit and freshness."

Obviously Gauthier Soho is not the only restaurant to take advantage of this wine - we've seen it listed at the Michelin-starred Marcus Wareing at the Berkeley, where you will pay a whopping £64.00 per bottle!

Buy a case from Gauthier Wines today and drink at home at just £19.85 per bottle.

It's the deal of the century!
